We’re now past the halfway mark, and if you’re wondering how to actually start learning AI seriously, here’s what’s stood out so far.

You Don’t Need to Understand How AI Works to Use It Well

One of the biggest blocks I see with people approaching AI is that they think they need to understand the technology deeply before they can use it. That’s not true, and it’s not how we approached the training.

Instead, we focused on practical application: agentic AI, AI for business, and how to actually put these tools to work in a business or career. You learn by using the tools on real tasks, not by studying theory first.

Learning Alongside Other Practical Skills Makes It Stick

The Lekki training didn’t teach AI in isolation. Alongside Agentic AI and AI for Business, we also covered Remote Work, Cybersecurity, App Development, and Business Branding and Promotion. That combination matters, because AI skills become far more useful when you already understand how to use them inside a real workflow, whether that’s running a remote job, protecting a business online, or promoting a brand.

If you’re learning AI on your own, don’t learn it in a vacuum. Pair it with a skill or a problem you’re actually trying to solve.

Consistency Beats Intensity

The training runs 10am to 2pm on weekdays and 9am to 4pm on weekends, every single day for 16 days. That consistency is what’s making the difference. Participants who keep coming back day after day are building real ability, not just notes from one exciting session.

If you’re trying to learn AI on your own in 2026, the same principle applies. One long weekend of enthusiasm won’t get you there. Set aside a little time consistently, and practice on real tasks, not just tutorials.

The Opportunity Is Real, But You Have to Show Up for It

We built this training to be free specifically because the opportunity in AI and digital skills right now is real, and cost shouldn’t be what keeps someone out of it. Everyone coming through the Lekki training is walking away with practical, usable skills they didn’t have days earlier.

There’s Still Time to Join

The training runs through August 16th at Hiltop Towers, Lekki. If you haven’t joined yet, there are still days left, and it’s free. Reach out to us for details on how to still be part of it.

We’re also planning more trainings like this one beyond this cohort, and we’ll announce dates here on the blog and on our pages as soon as they’re confirmed. Follow our page or reach out to us directly to be added to our list.

And if you already have a business and want help applying AI, branding, or cybersecurity practices properly, rather than learning it all yourself, that’s exactly what we do at Webiit Technologies. Reach out to us and let’s talk about where to start.

5 Questions to Ask Before Choosing Facebook Ads or https://ajayiadebayo.com/blog/2026/08/10/5-questions-to-ask-before-choosing-facebook-ads-or-google-ads/ https://ajayiadebayo.com/blog/2026/08/10/5-questions-to-ask-before-choosing-facebook-ads-or-google-ads/#respond Mon, 10 Aug 2026 10:06:00 +0000 https://ajayiadebayo.com/blog/?p=8627 One of the most common questions I get from business owners is: “Should I run Facebook ads or Google ads?” And honestly, the answer is never one-size-fits-all. The right platform depends on your business, your customer, and what you’re actually trying to achieve.

Before you spend a single naira on either platform, ask yourself these five questions.

1. Is My Customer Actively Searching, or Just Scrolling?

Google Ads shows up when someone is already searching for what you offer, for example, “plumber in Ikeja” or “buy wig online Lagos.” That’s high intent. The person is looking for you right now.

Facebook Ads works differently. Your ad interrupts someone while they’re scrolling, catching up with friends or watching videos. They weren’t necessarily looking for you, but a good ad can create interest they didn’t know they had.

If people actively search for your product or service, lean toward Google. If your offer needs to be seen to be wanted, like fashion, food, or a new product, Facebook (and Instagram) tends to work better.

2. Do I Have Strong Visuals, or Just Strong Copy?

Facebook and Instagram are visual-first platforms. If you have good photos or videos of your product, service, or work, Facebook Ads lets that visual content do the selling.

Google Ads, especially the search ads most small businesses start with, is mostly text. If your strength is a clear, compelling offer written in words rather than a product that photographs well, Google may suit you better.

3. What’s My Budget, and How Fast Do I Need Results?

Both platforms can work on a small budget, but the cost per click and cost per result vary a lot depending on your industry. Competitive Google keywords (like anything insurance or legal-related) can be expensive. Facebook often gives you more reach for less money when you’re just starting out, but the intent behind that reach is lower.

If you need quick, ready-to-buy customers and have some budget to test, Google Ads can get you there faster. If you’re building awareness and want more people to know your brand exists first, Facebook Ads is usually the more affordable starting point.

4. Do I Understand My Own Customer’s Journey?

Ask yourself honestly: when someone wants what I sell, do they search for it online, or do they discover it while browsing social media? A wedding planner might get more from Instagram and Facebook, where couples browse inspiration. A generator repair technician might get more from Google, where people search only when something breaks down.

If you’re not sure, that’s actually useful information too, it might mean you need to test both on a small budget before committing fully to one.

5. Am I Ready to Track and Adjust, or Just Hoping for the Best?

This is the question most business owners skip, and it’s the one that matters most. Running ads without tracking what happens after someone clicks is like pouring water into a basket. You need to know: did they call you? Did they buy? Did they abandon their cart?

Both platforms give you tools to track this, but you have to set it up properly before you start spending. Otherwise, you won’t know which platform is actually working for you, and you’ll end up guessing with your money.

The Real Answer

Most businesses eventually need both platforms, just for different purposes. But if you’re starting with a limited budget, answer these five questions honestly first. They’ll tell you far more than any generic “which is better” article ever could.

If you’d rather not figure this out through trial and error with your own money, that’s exactly what we help clients with at Webiit Technologies, setting up ad campaigns that are matched to your business and actually tracked properly. Reach out to us and let’s set your first campaign up the right way.

Whether you’re running a shop in Lagos, a service business, or an online store, you don’t have time to reinvent your workflow every day.

The good news: ChatGPT can take a huge chunk of that work off your plate. The catch? Most people get mediocre results because they’re using vague prompts.

Below are 10 ready-to-use prompts that solve real, everyday problems for entrepreneurs. Bookmark this page, you’ll come back to it.

1. Build a 30-Day Content Calendar in Seconds

Create a 30-day social media content calendar for a [your business type] targeting [your audience]. Include educational, promotional, and engaging post ideas.

Stop staring at a blank content calendar every Monday. This prompt gives you a month of ideas you can batch-schedule in one sitting.

2. Write Sales Copy That Actually Converts

Write a persuasive sales page for my [product or service], highlighting the benefits, addressing customer objections, and ending with a strong call to action.

Great for landing pages, product descriptions, or that email sequence you’ve been putting off.

3. Generate Fresh, Profitable Business Ideas

Give me 20 profitable business ideas related to [industry] that solve real customer problems.

Perfect for validating a new offer, spotting a gap in your niche, or just breaking out of a rut.

4. Turn Any Customer Reply Into a Professional One

Rewrite this customer response to sound more professional, empathetic, and helpful while keeping it concise.

Paste in a rough draft and get back something you’d actually be proud to send, especially useful when you’re replying fast and don’t have time to overthink tone.

5. Brainstorm Marketing Campaigns on a Tight Budget

Suggest 10 creative marketing campaign ideas for a [type of business] with a limited budget.

No agency fees required. This is your on-demand marketing brainstorm partner.

6. Create a One-Page Business Plan

Create a simple one-page business plan for a [business type], including target audience, revenue model, marketing strategy, and growth opportunities.

Ideal for pitching an idea, applying for a loan, or just getting clarity on your own next move.

7. Analyze Your Competition Like a Strategist

Based on these competitors [list competitors], identify their strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities my business can take advantage of.

Instant competitive analysis, no expensive market research report needed.

8. Write Emails That Get Replies

Write a professional email to [purpose] that is clear, persuasive, and encourages the recipient to take action.

Use it for outreach, follow-ups, partnership pitches, or investor updates.

9. Get Unstuck on Tough Business Problems

Act as an experienced business consultant. My challenge is [describe your problem]. Give me practical solutions, the pros and cons of each, and your best recommendation.

This is the closest thing to a free consulting session you’ll find.

10. Plan a Week That Actually Balances Everything

I run a [type of business]. Help me create a weekly schedule that balances client work, marketing, sales, meetings, and personal development.

Because “hustle harder” isn’t a strategy, a realistic schedule is.

Final Thoughts

ChatGPT is only as good as the prompt you give it. Vague input gets vague output. Specific input, like the prompts above, gets you results you can actually use.

Save this list, swap in your own business details, and you’ll spend less time figuring out what to do next and more time actually growing your business.

If you’d rather have someone build your marketing, branding, or digital presence around tools like this instead of doing it all yourself, that’s exactly what we help with at Webiit Technologies. Reach out to us and let’s talk about your business.

How a Fast Website Can Increase Sales and Build Cu https://ajayiadebayo.com/blog/2026/07/05/how-a-fast-website-can-increase-sales-and-build-customer-trust/ https://ajayiadebayo.com/blog/2026/07/05/how-a-fast-website-can-increase-sales-and-build-customer-trust/#respond Sun, 05 Jul 2026 22:08:10 +0000 https://ajayiadebayo.com/blog/?p=8606

Imagine walking into a store where the lights are off, the shelves are disorganized, and no one greets you. Most people wouldn’t stay for long. The same thing happens online when a website takes too long to load. Visitors lose patience, click away, and often never return.

Website speed is one of the most overlooked factors in business growth, yet it has a direct impact on how customers perceive your brand. In a world where people expect instant access to information, even a delay of a few seconds can influence whether someone chooses to stay, make a purchase, or contact your business.

A fast website does much more than improve user experience. It builds confidence, supports search engine visibility, increases conversions, and creates a positive first impression that encourages visitors to become customers.

First Impressions Happen Faster Than You Think

Your website is often the very first interaction potential customers have with your business. Before they call your phone number, send an email, visit your office, or make a purchase, they usually search online to learn more about who you are and what you offer. For many businesses today, a website serves as a digital storefront, creating a first impression long before any direct conversation takes place.

That first impression happens much faster than most business owners realize. Within just a few seconds of landing on your website, visitors begin forming opinions about your professionalism, credibility, and attention to detail. They may not consciously think about website speed, but they immediately notice when a page loads slowly or responds quickly.

When your website loads fast, visitors can instantly begin exploring your products or services without unnecessary delays. They can navigate from one page to another smoothly, read about your business, view your portfolio, check your pricing, or contact you without frustration. This creates a positive user experience that makes your business appear modern, organized, and trustworthy.

A fast website also shows that you value your customers’ time. Instead of making people wait for images, text, or pages to appear, you provide the information they need almost immediately. This small detail can have a surprisingly large impact on how visitors perceive your company. Businesses with fast, responsive websites often appear more reliable and better managed than those with slow, outdated sites.

On the other hand, a slow website can damage your reputation before visitors even have a chance to read your content. Every extra second spent waiting increases the likelihood that someone will lose patience and leave. In today’s digital world, people have become accustomed to websites that respond almost instantly. If your pages take too long to load, many visitors won’t wait—they’ll simply return to the search results and visit a competitor instead.

Slow loading times can also create negative assumptions about your business. Visitors may begin to wonder whether your services are dependable, whether your customer support is responsive, or whether your company pays attention to quality. Even if these assumptions are inaccurate, first impressions are difficult to change once they’ve been formed.

Website speed doesn’t only influence customer perception, it also affects confidence during important decision-making moments. Imagine a potential customer who is ready to request a quote, fill out a contact form, or place an order. If your website becomes slow or unresponsive during that process, the customer may hesitate or abandon the action altogether. A fast, reliable website helps maintain momentum and encourages visitors to complete the next step.

Trust is built through many small experiences, and website performance is one of the most important. A fast-loading website communicates professionalism, competence, and reliability without saying a single word. It reassures visitors that your business is active, well maintained, and committed to providing a good customer experience.

In many cases, trust is either strengthened or weakened within the first few seconds of someone arriving on your website. While great content, attractive design, and quality services all matter, none of them have the opportunity to make an impact if visitors leave before your pages finish loading. Improving your website’s speed is therefore one of the simplest and most effective ways to create a better first impression, build customer confidence, and increase the chances of turning visitors into loyal customers.

Speed Influences Buying Decisions

Online users have become increasingly impatient. They expect websites to respond almost instantly, whether they’re browsing on a desktop computer or using a mobile phone.

When pages load quickly, visitors remain engaged. They are more likely to read your content, compare your services, fill out enquiry forms, or complete a purchase. Every smooth interaction moves them one step closer to becoming a customer.

On the other hand, slow loading pages interrupt the buying journey. Visitors may abandon your website before viewing your products or learning about your services simply because waiting feels inconvenient.

This means website speed isn’t just a technical issue. It plays a significant role in your ability to generate leads and increase sales.

Customer Trust Is Built Through Experience

Trust is earned through consistency, and your website is part of that experience.

Customers expect businesses to provide information quickly and reliably. A website that responds immediately creates a sense of confidence. It tells visitors that your business values their time and pays attention to detail.

This is especially important for businesses that operate online or depend on digital enquiries. If customers experience delays while navigating your website, they may hesitate to share their contact information or complete a transaction.

A fast website removes unnecessary friction and makes every interaction feel effortless. Over time, these positive experiences strengthen customer confidence and encourage repeat visits.

Mobile Users Expect Speed

Today, a large percentage of internet traffic comes from smartphones. People search for products, compare prices, read reviews, and contact businesses while they’re on the move. Whether they’re commuting to work, relaxing at home, or standing inside a store comparing different options, customers expect to access information quickly and effortlessly from their mobile devices.

This shift in browsing habits means that having a mobile-friendly website is no longer optional. If your website doesn’t display properly on smaller screens, visitors may struggle to read your content, tap buttons, complete forms, or navigate between pages. Even simple tasks, such as finding your phone number or business location, can become frustrating if the website isn’t designed with mobile users in mind.

Website speed becomes even more important on smartphones because mobile users are often relying on cellular networks rather than fast Wi-Fi connections. A website that performs well on a desktop computer may still feel slow on a mobile device if it hasn’t been properly optimized. Large images, unnecessary scripts, and poor coding practices can significantly increase loading times, causing visitors to leave before the page has fully loaded.

A fast, responsive mobile website creates a much better experience. Visitors can browse your services, view your products, read important information, and contact your business without delays or technical issues. This not only keeps users engaged but also increases the likelihood that they’ll take action, whether that’s making a purchase, requesting a quote, booking an appointment, or sending an inquiry.

Mobile optimization also plays an important role in search engine rankings. Search engines prioritize websites that provide a good mobile experience, meaning businesses with fast, mobile-friendly websites have a better chance of appearing higher in search results. Higher visibility can lead to more website traffic, more inquiries, and ultimately more customers.

As mobile internet usage continues to grow each year, businesses that invest in fast, responsive websites are better positioned to meet customer expectations. A website that performs well on every device demonstrates professionalism, improves user satisfaction, and helps convert casual visitors into loyal customers.

Website Speed Supports Better Search Rankings

Search engines aim to deliver the best possible experience for users. One factor they consider is how quickly a website loads.

Although website speed is only one part of search engine optimization (SEO), it contributes to overall website performance. Faster websites generally provide better user experiences, which can lead to lower bounce rates, longer visit durations, and higher engagement.

These signals help search engines understand that visitors find your website useful.

Improving website speed alone won’t guarantee the top position in search results, but it supports a stronger SEO strategy and increases your chances of attracting organic traffic over time.

Slow Websites Quietly Cost Businesses Money

Many businesses underestimate the financial impact of poor website performance because the losses are rarely visible.

When a visitor leaves before your homepage finishes loading, there is no notification explaining why. When someone abandons an online enquiry form because it feels slow, that opportunity simply disappears.

These missed opportunities accumulate over time. A few lost visitors each day can translate into hundreds or even thousands of potential customers over the course of a year.

Improving website speed helps reduce these hidden losses by keeping visitors engaged and making it easier for them to take action.

What Makes a Website Slow?

Website speed depends on several factors working together.

Large, uncompressed images are one of the most common causes of slow loading times. Poor-quality web hosting can also affect performance by limiting server resources. Websites overloaded with unnecessary plugins, outdated software, excessive animations, or poorly written code often struggle to load efficiently.

Sometimes the problem isn’t one major issue but several smaller problems that gradually reduce performance.

Regular maintenance and performance testing help identify these bottlenecks before they begin affecting customer experience.

A Faster Website Creates Better Business Results

Improving website speed is one of the few digital investments that benefits both your customers and your business.

Visitors enjoy a smoother browsing experience, while businesses benefit from increased engagement, stronger search visibility, improved conversion rates, and greater customer satisfaction.

Unlike short-term marketing campaigns, website performance continues delivering value every day. Every visitor benefits from a faster experience, making speed an investment that keeps paying off over time.

Final Thoughts

Your website should make it easy for people to trust your business, not give them reasons to leave.

In today’s digital world, speed has become part of customer service. Every second matters because every second shapes how people experience your brand. A fast website communicates professionalism, improves customer confidence, supports search engine performance, and creates more opportunities for visitors to become paying customers.

Whether you’re launching a new business website or improving an existing one, investing in website performance is one of the smartest decisions you can make. When your website is fast, your visitors are more likely to stay, engage, and choose your business over the competition.

It’s Monday Again, A Fresh Start in the Tech Wor https://ajayiadebayo.com/blog/2026/05/04/its-monday-again-a-fresh-start-in-the-tech-world/ https://ajayiadebayo.com/blog/2026/05/04/its-monday-again-a-fresh-start-in-the-tech-world/#respond Mon, 04 May 2026 13:02:14 +0000 https://ajayiadebayo.com/?p=8159 Mondays often come with mixed feelings. For some, it’s the end of a relaxing weekend. For others, it’s the beginning of new opportunities. But in the tech world, Monday is something special — it’s a reset button.

Every Monday is a fresh start.

A chance to rethink ideas.
A chance to build something new.
A chance to solve real problems.

Why Mondays Matter in Tech

The tech space moves fast. Trends change, tools evolve, and innovation never sleeps. That’s why each new week presents an opportunity to stay ahead, learn something new, and push boundaries.

Instead of dreading Monday, successful tech professionals embrace it. They see it as:

  • A moment to plan and strategize
  • A time to refine skills
  • An opportunity to execute bold ideas

Innovation starts with you.

Innovation doesn’t just happen in big companies or labs. It starts with individuals who decide to take action. Whether you’re a developer, designer, content creator, or digital marketer, your ideas matter.

This week, ask yourself:

  • What problem can I solve?
  • What can I improve?
  • What can I create that adds value?

Even the smallest idea can grow into something amazing.

Stay Focused, keep pushing.

Consistency is what separates those who dream from those who achieve. Success in tech isn’t about one big breakthrough; it’s about showing up every day and putting in the work.

So this Monday:

  • Stay focused
  • Keep learning
  • Keep building
  • Keep pushing forward

Final Thoughts

Monday isn’t just another day — it’s an opportunity.

An opportunity to innovate.
An opportunity to grow.
An opportunity to create something amazing.

So don’t just start your week; own it.

We’re already on Day 4 of the Hive Africa Training, and the transformation is happening faster than expected. The energy from the students is on a completely different level, and it’s something worth talking about.

From day one, there was excitement. But now, it’s more than just excitement; it’s commitment, passion, and a real hunger to grow.

Every session, you can feel it.

No one is holding back.
Everyone is showing up, engaging, asking questions, and pushing themselves to become better. That kind of mindset is powerful, and it’s exactly how success begins.

Because success doesn’t just happen overnight.
It starts with:

  • The right mindset
  • The right energy
  • And the willingness to learn consistently

And that’s exactly what we’re seeing here.

As a tutor, it’s inspiring to watch this level of dedication. You can already tell that many of these students are not just here to attend; they’re here to transform their future.

The journey is still ongoing, and we’re not slowing down anytime soon.

Let’s keep the fire burning.

See you all in class today as we move to the next level!
