By Ajayi Adebayo
Today marks a significant moment in my professional journey—one that I’ll carry with pride for years to come.
I am humbled and honored to officially be inducted as a Chartered Information Technology Professional (CITP, MCPN) by the Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria). This achievement not only recognizes years of dedication and contribution to the IT profession but also reaffirms my commitment to upholding the highest standards in technology and innovation.
In addition to this, I continue to hold my membership with the British Computer Society (MBCS), a global professional body that has consistently inspired my drive for excellence and global relevance in the tech ecosystem.
This recognition is more than just a title—it’s a responsibility. A responsibility to lead, to mentor, and to use my skills in shaping a more secure, efficient, and digitally inclusive Nigeria.
A big thank you to the Computer Professionals (Registration Council of Nigeria) for this opportunity. I’m incredibly grateful for their trust and for the platform they provide to nurture and recognize IT talent across the country.
To everyone who’s been part of this journey—family, mentors, colleagues, and friends—thank you for believing in me. The journey continues, and I remain committed to the growth of technology, capacity building, and national development.
Let’s keep building, innovating, and moving forward—together.
